If we do not take your insurance, we have good news! We can still take you as a patient in our practice, but with a fee for service agreement.

Treatments not covered
1. Ketamine treatment:
Ketamine treatments are not covered by insurance plans.
What makes us different from other places offering this service, is maximizing the benefits of ketamine by partnering an infusion with therapy. Studies have shown there to be better and longer lasting results when a therapy session is completed during or soon after a ketamine treatment. This is something that we emphasize and comes standard with our ketamine service at Meah.
2. Integrative Psychiatry:
Integrative evaluation, assessment, and treatment options are not covered by insurance plans. This can be a very exciting and life changing approach to your mental health. Our psychiatrist Dr. Alexandria Kurtz has completed a fellowship and extra training in nutritional and integrative psychiatry.
She will do a complete workup of your lifestyle, diet, exercise and physical health to understand your body and offer treatments that are more focused on you and a holistic approach. She is well versed and able to offer treatment options, such as supplements and diet changes, that can treatment your symptoms. This option can be especially beneficial for those looking to not take traditional psychiatric medications or interventions.
3. Accelerated TMS
Accelerated TMS is a very exciting and potentially very fast acting treatment for depression and anxiety symptoms. Please see out treatments page for more information about what Meah offers and how this can help you get better! This is a service that is not covered by health insurance. We do charge a fee for these services and take credit card, debit card, and HSA funds. Please reach out to our office to receive a copy of our fees.

Meah Modern Psychiatry strives to take most common insurance plans. However, there are some plans that we do not take.
For people that want to join our practice but do not have the insurance we take, we have good news for you! We offer straight forward costs, with providing a Superbill that you can give to your insurance provider, should you have out of network benefits. Please contact our office for a copy of our fees.
