Founded by Board-Certified Psychiatrists, Meah Modern Psychiatry is a team of practitioners hand-selected for their knowledge-base, expertise, and devotion to improving the lives of the patients they encounter.

We understand the need to modernize mental health to fit our changing world and are committed to being at the forefront of evidence based diagnostic and treatment protocols, and continuing to be an innovator in the health technology space. We wanted our name to be a complete picture of the care we provide. Meah – pronounced Me-ah, is a Latin derivative of the word for “mine”. As in mine, or my life. We want to empower our patients to take ownership of their journey to mental wellness and take back the control of their life as they work to overcome their mental health symptoms.

Modern Psychiatry is just that – Modern. The challenges we face in the world today are drastically different than generations before us. Illnesses like anxiety and depression are at an all-time high, and rates continue to climb each year. These numbers show us that we must modernize our approach to the evaluation and treatment of mental health symptoms.
